A Bank Named Sue

The voices in Sandpoint foreclosures apologize to Johnny Cash. bamlynchscandalHe is not the only man in black as Bank of Americans mourn for the lack of ethical financial leadership.

Shareholders in Bank of America (B of A) found out today that regulators will sue the bank for paying out 3.6 billion dollars in bonuses to Merrill Lynch employees without the bank informing those shareholders.

I know two people living in Sandpoint foreclosures that are among the ripped off shareholders in Bank of America.  Last week a federal judge rejected a 33 million settlement for two reasons.

First, the judge believes that the SEC and B of A are in cahoots to avoid providing information that might be embarrassing to the bank and the government.  Second, the 33M would be shareholder money.

Robert lost his home in Sandpoint foreclosures and he is a B of A shareholder that wants the New York Attorney General to bring fraud charges against individuals.  “That’s the only way to get to the bottom of this greedy financial septic tank“, said Robert.

Tony is still hanging on in his Sandpoint foreclosures home but the clock is running out on his pending sale.   The buyers hit a small glitch and are hoping to overcome and close before the auction date.

Tony is also a shareholder in B of A and is critical of the bank and the SEC.   Tony says, “It does not pass the smell test”.

It’s a tough market to sell any home and if you are one of the many in Sandpoint foreclosures you know you must do everything possible to stage the property properly.  It must look good from the curb and be clean inside.

These home sellers know what Bank of America has not learned.  It’s not really clean if you just sweep the dirt under the rug.

Those executives at Bank of America have to start feeling that they are being tied to the tracks and can hjohnny_cashear Johnny singing now:  “I hear that train a coming, it’s coming down

the track …”

You anonymous (for now) executives should sing along because for you guys it’s all about the cash, right?  Just remember when you have your day in court that you spent the 3.6 billion with a “B” and failed to tell shareholders like Tony and Robert.

Do you have questions about how to sell or buy a home in Sandpoint foreclosures and would like to have a confidential conversation about your options?

Ask Ray.
