2004 Elected Mayor of Sandpoint.
2003 Retires from teaching
2002 Appointed Mayor of Sandpoint when sitting mayor resigns.
1998 Joins the Single Action Shooting Society as Kaniksu Kid

1995 Returns to Varsity football coaching quarterbacks and wide outs as
Offensive Coordinator
1990-93 Returns as Head Wrestling Coach.
1986 Unsuccessful campaign for State Representative. Resigned as Head
Wrestling Coach.
1983 Appointed to Library Board of Trustees.
1982 Elected to Sandpoint City Council will serve until 2002.
1975 Becomes the Head Wrestling Coach.
1974 Graduated from U of I with a Masters of Arts Teaching, minor in history.
Began teaching at Sandpoint High, Gov’t and Economics, coaching foot-
ball, wrestling and track.
1973 Enrolled in Masters program at University of Idaho.
1972 Graduated from Cal Poly degree in History, relocated to Sandpoint, taught
P.E. and Health at Sandpoint Junior High.
1969 Returned to civilian life, enrolled at Calif. State Polytechnic Univ., Pomona
Became a resident of Sandpoint.
1967 Drafted into the U.S. Army served in Viet Nam as a crew chief on a helicopter
gunship.
1966 Graduated from Citrus Junior College with a double major in History and Geology
Was part owner in a local business, Glendora Gun Shop.
1962 Graduated from Azusa High School participated in Football, Wrestling and Track.
Was an avid surfer.
