Sha Na Na belted out “Get A Job”. When it’s played in Sandpoint the people in the audience respond with:  “Get 2 or 3 if you want to live here”.

Are we alone in thinking that there is at least one uncomplicated solution that should hit a lender in the face like a triple-loaded driver side airbag? Mortgage rates have not been this low since the three little pigs built with sticks, straw and bricks.

Here’s the simple solution.  Just give borrowers new loans at the low rates and now you have a new dam against Sandpoint foreclosures.   A smaller monthly payment will certainly slow the number of Sandpoint foreclosures.

Sandpoint foreclosures list has a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 3100 sqft home, for less than $250,000.00 that I am researching today.

Not on the Sandpoint foreclosures list for another 20 days or so is a $214,500.00 three bedroom, 2 bath, 2,650 sqft home with 2-car garage.

Until banks start lending to the working family the housing terrain will be populated by cash investors. It may not be a large population but they will reap sharp discounts.
