Veterans Attacked by Lenders?

When Johnny comes marching home again, hurrah!  Hurrah! Veterans may be losing the refinancing war at home.ray-troops

Vets are under attack by lenders who add unnecessary requirements to existing rules that may lead to Johnny marching to a rental unit.

What will lenders require to perform a streamlined refinance for a VA loan, even though the government does not require it?  Why do some people believe this will encourage veterans to walk away from their homes?

The banks have our money and will not loan it small business or to homebuyers.  If you are employed and have a down payment, this is the perfect time to buy.

Sandpoint foreclosures are not going to include many of the homes being loaned on today.   Lenders have gone beyond the mandates and created higher standards.  They require a FICO score of 620 for FHA loans even though the FHA has no minimum score.

Sandpoint foreclosures may experience false slow down stats due to some delaying tactics.   The designed delay was intended to resolve issues and remove the homes from the Sandpoint foreclosures list.

In fact, resolution is seldom achieved and the process continues to auction and then usually becomes bank-owned real estate.  How many homes on the Sandpoint foreclosures list are bank-owned today?

San Jaoquin Bank in Bakersfield, California is 99 on the FDIC’s hot 100 failed bank list in 2009. One Sandpoint man has a daughter who lives in Bakersfield, California and no longer has an account at San Jaoquin Bank asked if there is a prize for number 100.

Good question.  FDIC officials have over 400 banks on their watch list and estimate the cost of bank failures between 2009 – 2013 will be another 100 billion dollars.

And it’s one, two, three, four; what are we fighting for?

We fight to stay off the Sandpoint foreclosures list.   We become determined to be as creative as necessary to find solutions to Sandpoint foreclosures.
