The Congressional Oversight Panel (COP) that watchdogs the 700 billion dollar bailout of financial markets points out the obvious – the federal government is not doing enough to assist homeowners before they are one of the many Sandpoint foreclosures.
By now most of us understand where the various “too little-too late” government programs belong. That’s why we left the seat up in 2009. Put them here and flush.
Sandpoint foreclosures displace real families. Sandpoint foreclosures that go to auction with no bids become vacant, unattended homes on your street. Sandpoint foreclosures are owned by banks that are thousands of miles from our shared community.
We do not need fancy answers to our questions. We need solid solutions for Americans.
